True North Square has LEED® Gold certification, reflecting a commitment to sustainability throughout the design and construction process. The project will excel in reducing energy consumption while providing better air quality, natural light, and energy efficiency, setting a new benchmark in Winnipeg office building performance. A focus on resource efficiency as well as user health and wellness is a priority for the project, lowering operating costs, improving tenant comfort, health and safety.

Sustainability initiatives in place at True North Square include:

• Chemical-free "green" and day-time cleaning program
• Highly efficient heating and cooling system
• Water saving plumbing features
• Triple-pane windows with sun shades designed to maximize efficiency
• Bike-to-work facilities and low-emission vehicle incentives
• Smart landscaping using native, low-irrigation plants and natural fertilizers
